Returning to college is the right move for LaNorris Sellers, who didn't take a step forward this season. Returning to South Carolina is a questionable decision when it comes to his development.

A couple of things on the QB's. I don't think there's any chance the #Bengals trade Joe Burrow. Also, keep in mind he also has a no trade clause. Fernando Mendoza is going to win the Heisman today. The #Jets are currently better set up to support a young QB than the #Raiders.

With Suarez, and Rogers now having signed, the financial range for Pete Fairbanks is pretty well set. He's younger than both of them. This is a spot where i'd like to see the #Mets get aggressive.

As part of Sunday Drive prep on #Panthers / #Saints, it's worth noting how well New Orleans is playing defensively of late. They're allowing 18-ppg over the last 4-games. They held Cousins, Young, Tua, and Baker all to under 200-yards passing with 3-TD's and 4-INT's combined.

I'm the youngest regular lead host on SiriusXM NFL Radio, so you'd think I'd be more open to the use of analytics, the down 9 test, etc...I'm not. Don't get me wrong, there's a place for it. However, the information should be used to make a decision, not have the decision made for you.

What the #Mets should also consider, in my opinion, is giving Ronny Mauricio a look at 1st base. There's not a spot for him if Baty is the full time 3B, which seems to be the plan.

The #Mets are looking for a stopgap at 1st base, not a long term replacement for Pete Alonso, so the reported interest in a guy like William Contreras isn't surprising. They need a bridge to Ryan Clifford, who is 22 and in AAA at this point.

The #NYR look three steps slow, and have given Shesterkin zero help tonight in Chicago. They’re wasting this guy.

These are hard moves. I understand it's tough for the #Mets fan. Once again, I'm trying not to have an emotional response. My family has been less than thrilled. The off-season doesn't take place in one week, or solely at the winter meetings. Come see me when the roster is set.

The #Mets intention clearly was to overhaul the core this off-season, and they're well on their way. For better or worse, this is David Stearns ship to sail now. If they really wanted to keep these guys, they would have. Let's see what the plan is from here.

#Knicks headed for Vegas. Well done! They were in total control from the 2nd quarter on. Never let Toronto get closer than 14 prior to garbage time.

Some karma there…Toronto went to intentionally fouling Mitch, and the #Knicks stomped them out for the rest of the 2nd quarter.

The idiotic #NBA continues to allow the intentional fouling to go on. It ruins any pace the game has, and is an awful look.

It’s a fun, unique kind of story, but understand how bad the #Colts QB situation is that they had to go to this kind of desperate break the glass plan.

Before the automatic pile on over the contract, which at 3-years $69 million isn’t obscene, let’s understand it’s entirely possible Diaz wanted to go to LA. I would hope the #Mets matched or exceeded that offer. Playing for the #Dodgers is extremely appealing these days.

Trying not to have an emotional reaction to the Edwin Diaz news. I’m not thrilled. It’s a guy the #Mets should’ve made a priority to keep. I’ll be very interested in the contract numbers, and the corresponding moves Stearns makes at the back end of the bullpen.
