My review of the new Nintendo Direct

Mini Mons Card 91: Wyrdish Back on my TCG nonsense. Made a weird little radish guy. Next up will be a rat adventurer with a tiny lil' sword.

I just beat the original Final Fantasy for the first time. My review: -half the game literally didn't work -the half that did work was super fun -shocking amount of player expression for a 35 year old game -The Ice Cave is the worst dungeon I've ever seen in a professional RPG -Would play again~

Here are the first 90 card arts all put together. I think 100 is a good number for a base set, so I'll do the final 10 over the next month or two. Also I want to do more promo cards featuring Friend's OCs and whatnot. I think that would be cute. Might hit up some mutuals about that later.~

Daily Card 090: Fin With that, the last of my daily cards (at least for a while). I wanted to make it to 100 but I'm too burnt out. Still, 3 months is longer than expected. And I'll continue to make cards, just not at this pace for a bit. Thanks to everyone who checked out my cards. You da best <3

I picked up a copy of the hobbit at a local thrift store for super cheap. Will finally give it a read and let you guys know how it goes.

Daily Card 089: Magic Staff A simple one for today. The Wizard archetype is starting to come along.~

Daily Card 088: Toyvern Another doll card for today. This one is probably going to need some nerfing too.

Daily Card 087: Seller of Potions You guys remember the YuGiOh card "Poison of the Old Man"? I dunno why but that one always stuck with me. I think I just like the design a lot.

Daily Card 086: Saru Saru I have a distinct shortage of both Fire Mons and monkeys in my game, so thought I'd fix that. Wanted to base one off those japanese monkeys that really like hotsprings.

Daily Card 085: Octalloon This was a fun one to make. I should do more octopi in the future.

Daily Card 084: Twigbert Twigbert is the personal assistant of princess Oak. He is hard working, diligent, and totally not a pikmin.

Daily Card 083: Stumpsworth I like how this one turned out. He looks like he's about to teach you a new Bro's move.

Daily Card 082: Bow As a follow up to yesterday, have another FF inspired card. I was surprised to find the first game doesn't have Chocobos, Tonberrys, Cactuars, Phoenix Downs, Moogles, Shiva, Ifrit, or even Cid. But it does have the Ribbon.

Daily Card 081: Wiz Kid I've been playing a lot of Final Fantasy 1 on the NES. I've never played a game so ahead of it's time in terms of design, and yet so absolutely trash in terms of it's coding. It's been a lot of fun. also really wanna build a Vivi MTG commander deck.

Daily Card 080: Heart Swap I always thought Change of Heart was a really fun card. Broken as all heck, but still really fun.

Daily Card 079: Block Bot Just another fun vanilla Mon for today. I like robots~

Daily Card 078: Snail Mail the first tutor effect. Hopefully it'll be slow enough to not be game breaking, as these kinds of effects often are.

Daily Card 077: A Wrench Figured it was time I made a Lightning Bolt style card for my game. Thought of what could be the best thing to represent direct, no frills burn damage and there's something funny about throwing a wrench at people.

Daily Card 076: Lucky Clover Just realized I should have saved this one for tomorrow so it would be day 77. Oh well. If I ever manage to make it to 777 cards, I'll make that one "Luckier Clover" to make up for it.

Daily Card 075: Later Gator You should ask about his friend, Up Dog. also 75 cards!!! 3/4 of the way to 100. I can't believe I've stuck with this for so long.

Daily Card 074: Attic Ghost Been a little bit since I made a silly vanilla Mon. If you get the reference here you're a real one.

Daily Card 073: Baby Phoenix Today we have a baby Phoenix. He's very sensitive, so be nice to him.

Daily Card 072: Copy Cat This marks the 5th cat (I think) I've made so far. Always love copy effects like this and wanted to include one.

Daily Card 071: Very Cold Ice Cream Ok, last food card for a while. I wanted to make a threatening roar kinda card but with some modality. You can use it to stall your opponent, or use it on yourself in a pinch when you really need the HP.

Daily Card 070: Lemonade The trifecta is now complete. Stay hydrated, everybody.

Daily Card 069: Soda Pop Another day another beverage. I wanted to make a Maxx C kind of effect, but obviously way weaker. And I made it so the life gain / card draw happens on the end step so it can't be abused to do crazy combos.

Daily Card 068: Fresh Water Going to be making a set of 3 healing drinks over the next few days. Thought it would be fun to give the first one an alt protection effect, but might end up being too powerful.

Daily Card 067: Hop-Hop Flan The Veggimals are growing in numbers. Watch out.

Daily Card 066: Melon Frog He frog, he melon. I have been having a lot of fun making the Veggimal card.

The designs in Marvel Tokon look so good. This might be my favorite Star-Lord. Also love cap with his silly little jacket.

Daily Card 065: Magma Slime Been a while since I made a slime. As the slimes all power each other up, I wanted an ETB burn effect that could be quite devastating if used late game with a full board.

Daily Card 064: Coral Dragon And with that, I have now finished 64 cards! That was my initial goal when I started this project. I'll keep making cards, but I'm proud of myself for sticking with it this long already. It's been good discipline practice, I think. Now let's shoot for 100~

Daily Card 063: Dragon's Tooth I think it makes sense to make Dragons all about big dumb boss monsters, and ways to cheat them out early. Now I just need to make some really big dumb boss monsters for them.

Daily Card 062: Dream Bat I should use this color palette more often, I really like it. Also wanted to make a mon with a road-block effect, so have a snoozy bat.

I've been rewatching the X-Men movies lately. Man they really cucked Scott in this series.

And with that, I've now done two months of my daily card project. I'm really proud of myself for sticking with this for so long. It's been fun. Here's hoping I make it to three months too. ^^

Daily Card 060: Star Coin The first Item card! Items are basically the enchantment / continuous spell card type of my game. I wanted to make an effect like Ichor Wellspring, as I always thought that was a fun effect to workshop around.

Daily Card 059: Worm Wyrm This one was a silly concept, but I do like how it turned out. ^^
