Changing it up a bit - before the all-consuming grimdarkness, I had random paint projects, like the #marvelcrisisprotocol EMC Set. Daily post series till I run out of pics (or forget to post). Day 1: America's Ass and his angry sidekick.

I continue to look for excuses to not finish painting the celestian insidiants. Today, building the #tyranid prime with lash whip. But i felt I knew better than GW, so i tried tweaking the pose with epoxy putty and good intentions. We'll see tomorrow if it (literally) holds up. #warhammer40k

Baby's 1st conversion/kitbash. After performing some light warcrimes on a spare 2nd hand phobos (it was superglued together), i think i've got a passable Pack leader, and thus, a complete Wolf Scouts #killteam What an anxiety inducing experience. #warhammer40k

First proper full day #killteam tournament, organized by #KillTeamManila came in dead last, my tourney record remains *perfect*. And was true to the motto: "If you're gonna fail, you might as well look good doing it". (Managed to take home Best Painted, which was nice.) #warhammer40k

Fair bit of progress with the first batch of #adeptasororitas #killteam. Final assembly done, now for cleanup and wacky special effects i dont quite know how to execute. #warhammer40k

After literally months of bugs and genefreaks, a change of pace. *one* model from start to finish. Testing/practicing techniques and color schemes. Chasing the happy accident. And something that isnt even from the 41st Millenium. I enjoyed this little break immensely. #warhammerageofsigmar

Skipped ahead in my workflow because i needed to see if my latest brainfart works. brainfart being the 2-tone cloaks. "Practical" exterior color & a deep violet interior, w/c is sort of a unifying element to my #genestealercults. The color is almost sacred. (catholic coded, I know) #warhammer40k

First "epic hero" model, The Deathleaper. Love the look of it (hated the build). Slightly different color scheme to the rest of the army, as nod to its elite status. #warhammer40k #tyranids

Trying to squeak in some more bugs before the end of the year. Adapted (oops, pun) the Raveners' color scheme so that I can use them in #killteam and the eventual day i actually learn to play #warhammer40k. Lictor is still a ways off, but I'm so digging it as a beastie. #tyranids
