Have been attending the QIQG (Quantum Information and Quantum Gravity) conference at Perimeter Institute this week. It’s great to catch up with collaborators and watch some very interesting talks! 🤩 But let me remind you all: we don’t live in a universe with a positive cosmological constant 🙃

Bad news: I have a cold from hell but I hope it will improve soon. Good news: they finally fixed the WiFi in my apartment so I don’t have to go work at Perimeter. Especially while I am carrying the plague 😷 I did mask though!

I’m visiting Perimeter Inst. this summer (I’ve been slow on social media updates). They have many Quantum Info talks this week so I thought to attend them. Big chunks of it is pretty formal and mathematical. It reminds me of sitting in Quantum Gravity seminars 😝

Blind hiring process is confusing! For my application I need to submit documents with a lot of personal information removed including degree and work experience. I need to edit my name out of author lists even in my proposal 😵 Gulp! My references must have info removed too
