On World AIDS Day & the Day of Persons with Disabilities, we name the truth: This country spends billions policing, and punishing, but refuses to invest in accessible healthcare, HIV research, or the dignity of people navigating these systems. Disability justice is abolition.

Today, we honor the Indigenous nations who have resisted colonial violence for centuries and continue that leadership today. From the Occupation of Alcatraz to the Nisqually Tribe resisting ICE pressure in 2025, Indigenous resistance strengthens all our struggles for liberation.

On #IDEVAW we uplift trans and immigrant women whose safety is threatened by both interpersonal and state violence. Women should be able to seek help without fear of deportation, harassment, or incarceration.
