They are such good books! I adore the three main characters. They are all actresses who play a lady detective in shows and movies that was written by a famous author not unlike Agatha Christie. Of course, they hate each other at first but then generational BFFs. I love it! Such good mysteries!

My critique partner just got through next novel in the Succulent Sleuth Series. I have a lot of edits to go through for it, but I'm hoping it will be ready in 2026. In the mean time, I've been writing a new first in series with a sassy forester who finds a dead guy in the woods with a client.

I keep a spreadsheet of the words I write each day. I'm very motivated to not have zeros during the work week. I have weekly word count goals but if I don't meet them, I don't beat myself up.

When I start a mystery, I know who the killer is and who died. I usually have a good idea who other suspects are and a few beats I want the characters to hit along the way. So I have a very rough outline but I am most of a discovery writer. 👩‍💻
