NEW BIO by Joe McClellan treasuryoflives.org/biographies/... Gyiling Tukchok Dorje was a nineteenth-century scholar and teacher in Golok. He was a disciple of Getse Mahāpaṇḍita, and other important lamas at Katok. He founded Gyilung Monastery where he was a respected historian and teacher.
