I do appreciate that in older Star Treks you can tell when the show gets good by how the main characters look. Next Gen: Riker grows a beard. Voyager: Janeway stops changing her hair style every episode. DS9: Sisko goes bald and grows goatee. It’s useful.

What have I been doing? Welp I found a really cool map maker game on steam so I’ve finally been trying to visualise my stupid ass little world build project. This is like. A first draft. The fundamentals are there but the finer details are off and it’s not all planned/mapped out yet.

Tbh I am generally feeling just very kinda apathetic about roleplay right now. The reset was nice and creatively I’m excited to at some point jump back into new projects and plans. But still. It’s really sinking in that we’re just no better than Twitter RP nowadays. So I’m feeling very. Jaded?

I think what I really wanna do is lean into my own world build characters a bit. I tried it briefly before I was ready, but I’ve made (and still am) good progress on the setting and idk. I think that could be liberating. We’ll see.
