This Maya ceramic figurine dating to ca. 700–500 B.C. was found in the Puuc region of Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula, and is the only such Preclassic statuette from the area. archaeology.org/issues/july-august-2025/artifacts/maya-ceramic-figurine/
