Happy to share that the latest issue of English Language and Linguistics (CUP), which I co-edited, is now open access! The issue, “Cognitive Approaches to Variation and Change in the English Modal Domain”, explores cutting-edge research on how English modals vary and change. ⬇️

Just back in Paris after a few weeks in China for the first edition of the #Grammaticalization vs. #DiachronicConstructionGrammar workshop at Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou, followed by some lectures at Capital Normal University (Beijing). Many thanks to my hosts for the kind invitation!
