sketch lines done! ....well, almost. i feel like she still needs small adjustments everywhere and i'm not sure if the missile pack is detailed enough....... should i do a ammo box or an ammo drum for the autocannon? i remember i thought of it as a box when i was young, but a drum might look better

something i learned from a friend recently is that if you absolutely want to prevent pencil smudges, you can try using tape to lift some of the lead off the paper before erasing of course, carefully selecting the type of tape to match the fragility of the paper you're using is really important.....

funny quirk of mine....... because of my taste in mecha, i keep subconsciously drawing people's heads too small because i think it looks cool i am now on my 4th round of enlarging the head for this drawing

PSA: Bluesky's new auto-tagging moderation stuff is a disaster. Disable it. Go into Settings on the Bluesky site and enable adult content and set everything to Warn at most, which makes posts opt-in. Hide just vanishes posts. Then go into Advanced/Bluesky Mod Service and do the same on everything.

a friend pointed out to me that the unitree robot that people were talking about recently looks like a prototype for the rk-91/92 savage from full metal panic the comparison seems useful because while both robots vaguely have the same body type, savage comes out looking way less ugly.........

missed the deadline a birthday gift drawing..... would you say it's normal to complete a late gift drawing and just keep it in reserve for a future occasion? i wouldn't be able to upload it here, but it was a rather detailed robot and i was only able to get sketches for the head and core done...

i really hope the image carousel update can be toggled off..... maybe it's just because i'm not dexterous, but if i scroll through the images too hard it triggers the browser history forward button. then when i click the backward button, whatever page i was on gets automatically refreshed.

now that xenoglossia has more eyes on it, has anyone fixed the english subs just being completely missing for episode 7? it was a while ago so i don't even remember if i liked the show or not, but i vaguely remember being sad that i couldn't continue watching

in regards to the scopedog drawing...... i only now remembered the turn picks on the original have intake-like holes at the bottom. the new foot attachments might be redesigned turn picks on the new scopedog there's two of the attachments on each foot though, so they wouldn't work well as pivots

uuuuuuuu everyone's having fun using the VHS filter on their art..... it doesn't look good on my drawings because there's no color, i need to work out how to do that........ i've thought about using markers before, but i never went through with it because i'm afraid it'd smudge the ink lines.

i tried not posting for 5 to see if having a repost at the top of my page for 5 days would make it more effective..... it didn't really work out so this is probably a sign that i need to come up with more efficient ways of advocating for friends

asked the admin, apparently you can just download stamps from deviantart...... i couldn't find any stamps of modern synthv teto, but maybe that's a good thing since using them is meant to purposefully reference dated internet culture. i still made some new stamps using some templates, though.
