I sincerely wish Filip Chytil would have learned to keep his head up during his NHL career. One of my favorite Rangers prospects ever. Wilson’s hit was late, dirty, and unpenalized. But the player himself has never learned to protect himself on the ice. It’s cost him a career.

When I saw Robertson in person v EDM, he looked great. It’s taken a minute. Now he’s an NHL player that needs to be in the top 6 D for this team all season. Most pleasant surprise of the season so far.

I know Kreider has scored 3 PPGs in ANA. He doesn't play here anymore. We should be rooting for his success. But what he does in ANA has NOTHING to do with the 2025 NYR. Time to move on.

Amorim's system can work. I want to see it in practice with a real CDM. And he needs more from his wingbacks. The system can work if we have the right players.

I want to see Lammens start for United as much as anyone. But let's kill the narrative that Bayindir is not as good as Onana. He's a far superior keeper to Onana, who is wreckless, lacking in basic goalkeeping fundamentals, and has mental lapses which cost his team over and over. Respect Bayindir.

My August New York Rangers take: This team is weak at center without any real speed on the wings. Ceiling is a 6 seed and the opportunity to be overrun in the playoffs. Igor will hide the warts. I want a top two-way C and speed on this team. Year after year they fail to fix this glaring issue.

Anthony Volpe is not a major league player. He would not start for any other team in baseball. A symbol of the stubborn unwillingness to change that personifies the Yankees.
