The problem is that if you 'analyse' qualitative data with GenAI you get something that looks like results. In quantitative research, that's been happening for years. Easy-to-use statistical software means that any fool can get a 'result'. But it does not mean the analysis was done correctly.

Great thread by @pwgtennant.bsky.social about PPI in methodological research. In my view, people are too hung up on what the 'PP' stands for. Yes, Patients and/or the Public are often the end users of research ... but sometimes they're not! Were it called 'End-User Involvement' it'd be much better.
