Today's #goodnews is about Boston nonprofit that runs a 10-week class teaching teens how to care for & fix bikes. Once they graduate, they get to keep the bike. About 200 teens work in the shop repairing bikes every year. They ship them all over the country & even set up in other countries. ☺️

Today's #goodnews shows the love people have for us pups. When they spotted a dog walking in the tunnel, they called the police for a rescue. When they arrived, many cars stopped to form a protective barricade around the dog until he could be coaxed into the police car. 😊

Today's #goodnews is from a community in the Netherlands where everyone has to dedicate 50% of their land to growing food. The Dutch want everyone to eat healthier and this is a great way to do it. Think we should try the same thing here, what do you think? 🤔

Today's #goodnews started when a bride called off her wedding & didn't want her deposits to go to waste. She contacted a nonprofit Parents Helping Parents & offered them the services she had reserved for their annual charity event for people with disabilities. The Ball for All was a success. 😊

Rocky here- Dewey didn't cooperate with #wontlookwednesday cuz he was hoping he'd get EXTRA treats but I didn't care. I wasn't gonna look no matter what! My plan worked! We both got the same number of treats. I may be younger but sometimes I'm right. 😁

Today's #goodnews is just fun. A 1,200 bear named Henry eating a 1,400 pumpkin that was donated to the habitat. Our favorite thing from the story is that at first Henry wasn't sure about this thing that was bigger than him but after eating a big chunk of it, seemed to be in a food coma. 🤣

It's a Monday so thought another #goodnews story showing there's lots of good people out there might make you feel better. This dad & his 2 sons spent $150 buying food & set up a food pantry on their lawn. It had a great response with lots of people donating money so they could keep it going. 😊

Today's #goodnews comes from Canada where a photographer alerted Parks Canada staff when we saw an elk with netting entangled in its antlers. They got it removed without harming the animal and said it happens quite often. Thank goodness there's good people at the park to help. 😊

Today's #goodnews comes from Kentucky. A teacher named Scott had a student who was born without a hand & wearing a rubber hand. Scott wondered if he could design a functional hand. He got advice from others using 3-D printers to make prosthetics & finally surprised the boy with his new hand. 😊

Didn't have any idea that I was gonna get the bestest dad in the whole world. ❤️ And the bonus? He was REALLY easy to train. 😁

Today's #nicenews is a fun one. Polar Bears International set up live cams so everyone could watch polar bears as they wait for the sea ice in the Hudson Bay to freeze. You'll see mama bears snuggling with their babies. Our favorite was watching them play-like all kids everywhere! 😊

Today's #goodnews comes all the way from Alaska. When Typhoon Halong flooded several villages, the people were flown to safety but pets got left behind. Flying them out is the only option since the area isn't accessible by road. BFK9 organized pilots and others to rescue the beloved pets. 😊

Pupdate from Rocky- Good news-my sutures are out! Bad news-still sporting a bandage. Dr. B said the bandage was a 'distraction' cuz he thought I would lick it. I mean, I WAS probably gonna lick it but how did HE know that? 🤔 The vet tech is kinda sweet on me & Dewey was there for support. 🥰

Today's #goodnews is from Portland where the Heretic Coffee shop is giving a free breakfast to people who are losing their SNAP benefits. The owner said lots of people have stepped up to ask how they can help either by volunteering at the shop or donating money. 8 paws up to the owner!
