Today's #goodnews started when woman abandoned her dog as the airport because she didn't have paperwork proving her dog was a service animal. She was arrested & the dog (renamed Jet Blue) was turned over to Animal Protective Services. Jet Blue found a loving home with the officer & his family. ❤️

Today's #goodnews is about 4 hikers & their 5 dogs on the Scottish Highlands. The dogs fell through a cornice (build up of snow on the edge of a cliff). The group rescued 4 of the pups but Aggie had fallen into a hollow & couldn't be rescued until the next morning. Luckily he wasn't hurt. 😊

Today's #goodnews is the San Antonio Food Bank is building an apartment complex next to the New Braunfels Food Bank. Meant for families in a transitional phase, they'll stay in the affordable housing for 24-36 months while they get back on their feet & get a stipend when it's time to move out. 😊

It's a full-time job getting Dad through the day, especially when he spends too much time watching the news. 😲 Really think it's time for humans to transfer power over to the animals cuz we'd do a better job. 😉

Today's #goodnews shines a light on Animal Rescue Corps. Like a knight in shining armor, they came to the rescue when the shelter's owners got divorced. The dogs were living in horrific conditions & many had been there for years. They'll partner with other rescues to find homes for them. 😊

Today deserves more than one #goodnews story. Police were looking for a missing child when a dog appears & barks to get their attention. He led them to a backyard & sits down by the back wheel of a car. The boy was in the back seat with the child locks on so he couldn't get out. Well done pup! 😊

Today's #goodnews is about Kyle, who fought off a coyote 4 times his size but got bitten. They worried the coyote had rabies so Kyle was quarantined for 6 months (per California law). Kyle became a staff favorite, which is why he got a party & the perfect ending when a staff member adopted him.😊

Today's #goodnews is the work The Bond Between is doing in MN since many pets have been left behind when their people were detained or deported. The shelter offers temporary & long term fostering and rehoming. They've also been giving out care kits for pets since many are afraid to go out. 😊

This #goodnews from Spokane where a deer was rescued from a frozen lake. Neighbors saw the deer struggling to stand so they called for help, which came in the form of a firefighter. Because the ice was thin, he laid down next to the deer and others pulled them to safety. 😊
