I don’t “network,” I make friends. Other artists are not my competition, they’re my beloved peers and sources of inspiration. We all have the same goal; to share our art. I’m not gonna corporatize my human relationships with them. I am in my sandbox playing and I hope they join me.

Kristal is one of my oldest characters, I remember getting her name as a reference to the silver crystal from Sailor Moon and Krystal from Star Fox. I liked the name, but wanted it to be different than the others. I ended up spelling her name as Kristal than Crystal or Krystal and I loved it.

I say 11 more pages to finish before April ends and I ended up getting sick this week. It forces me to rest. I haven't been able to really have time to myself that I am reaching a burnout. Yet at the same time, I want to finish the next chapter for my readers. 😭

Kristal doesn't know anything about who the main antagonist, Keir, is other than being the source of her nightmares. Luna despises Keir for his trickery and deceit, only to soon discover his horrific schemes later in her journey. Me? Ha... I'm scared of him, so I like to pretend he's an actor. 🙃

Only 11 more pages of inking and coloring for The Elements of Luna chapter 4! A story that's 10 years in the making, concluding its 1st arc. It has been a challenge so far, fighting a potential burnout and graduation prep, but I can't wait for the satisfaction as soon as this chapter is done.
