The young Detective Prince sat by himself at a local cafe in Kichijoji. He was given a few days off to spend at his leisure. He wasn’t much of a fan of having to skip a work day, but today… 🤎“…Hmmm…” …Today, He felt as if he didn’t mind a day to rest.

“Heh…It’s not intentional. Although, you do seem amused.” He responded. He gently let go of her hand and slowly wrapped his arm around her waist. Katzumi could potentially feel his pacing heart. Despite it, He genuinely enjoyed being by her side.

“That all sounds reasonable.” He nodded. “I do have other reasons why I’m hesitant to cooperate with the Yakuza…I’ll be sure to tell you one day, but I’ll take the chance to trust your people.”

“I…I see.” He kept his head down as she pointed them out. He looked at Katzumi, placing his hand on her cheek. “Hehe…I suppose that might explains your method of traveling? Though, I’m not bothered.” He gently kissed her cheek, flustering himself.

“Hmm…I suppose that would be a good idea. I’m willing to try and trust if they’ve also been helping you.”

“It’s been a while. We’ve also had a few other cases regarding them. Nothing too serious at the moment. Nonetheless, as long as you’re ok, I won’t make a deal out of it.”

“T-The Yakuza?” He holds her hands a bit tighter, a bit worried about her associating with potentially dangerous people. “Well, I’m sure you have your reasons. I won’t pry.”

“Well, I don’t want to lie to you. I’ll do what I can for you.” He assured. “These men wouldn’t happen to be coworkers, no? If it is, then that’ll be unfortunate for them to know you now have official security.” He smiled toward her.

Akechi had looked to the side, partly embarrassed. Be it his Detective nature, but he was eager to know what Katzumi had in mind for him. “Ah…I-I’m sure it’s nothing to be concerned about…” He told himself. He turned back to Katzumi, admiring his lovely date, gently holding— [Cont.]

“Huh? Do you honestly trust me that much? Why would you want to have a key to your…?” He was curious on her reasoning for this. Although he ends up stopping himself as a certain “thought” he had in his mind may or may not have made him fall silent and blush intensely. “…?!”

“I’m glad you feel the same way. O-Oh, I u-uhhh…” He stammered, realizing he gently kissed her. “A s-spare key? A key to where exactly?”

“Katzumi-san…I…” He leaned in closer as well. He felt his heart racing as she was beside him. “…I would love that…” He whispered before he brought Katzumi, gently pressing his lips against hers. “I…want to keep talking with you…”

Guess there wouldn’t be a point hiding it anymore. “I…u-ummm…I guess you could say that I might just be worried about the future. You never know what you happen…” He responded to her, looking into her mesmerizing eyes.

“Huh? O-Oh, It’s nothing…” He shrugged it off. He gently held Katzumi’s hand as she did reach out to him. “I…l-like your smile. I can tell you enjoyed today.”

“Ah. Honestly, seeing you so relieved is a reward enough that I did right, But I am grateful for the offer.” He did slightly frown and looked away as he was assured that his time with Katzumi was coming to an end. He sat silently and admired Katzumi’s dress, aware that he’s not ready for goodbyes.

“H-Huh? Seriously?” This is a surprise. Katzumi does seem like one to have an elegant lifestyle, but to have strong connections like this has Akechi curious. “That sounds comforting. I guess you’re used to traveling that way?”

“Hawaii? That’s quite a proposal.” It does sound like a wonderful idea. He’ll be willing to do so if it meant that Katzumi was happy with it. Although, having to travel out of the country is something he’s never done. He isn’t sure on how he would spend those days doing nothing. [Cont.]

“W-Well, I’m glad I could make you happy.” He blushed softly. “Hehe, s-so…Your case is done. A-Anyway you plan to celebrate?”

“Yes. He confessed to what he had done. That second paper is something I proposed later on when I looked over everything one last time. Once it’s all signed and sent, you won’t have to worry about it anymore.”

Certain parts of the papers were highlighted. The first one reads: “Madarame has confessed and will be found guilty of his crimes against Aliko. We conclude with Katzumi Aliko has won over the case of Aliko vs. Madarame.”

“…Two weeks, huh…?” He slightly looked away. “Ah, I-I’m sure it’ll be fine.” He responded to her. “Oh, but before that all happens, I suppose it’s the best time to show you.” He picks up his briefcase from the side of him and places it on the table to open it up. [Cont.]

“I’m glad you think so. There are good places here whenever you a moment to relax. Hehe and It’s good to see that your taking the relaxation in.” He gave a gentle smile. Hopefully your work wasn’t too much to handle today?”

“Ah…” Immediately, He blushed from the peck upon his cheek. “A-Ah, It’s nothing. You are here now, after all.” He responded, feeling his heart race slightly. “You look absolutely beautiful today. E-Even though you look beautiful everyday! H-Honestly!” He stammered.
