Oh God, I’m so fed up with Cursor right now... It was great at first, but as the project grew in complexity, all the fun turned into a nightmare. It got slow, remaking systems, confused, and duplicating stuff. It might be good for a quick start, but after that, I’d rather just learn .js myself.

Two days ago, I knew nothing about JavaScript. Now, I have a working online game with database and player authentication. My favorite part? The login screen. DALLE created the logo, Cursor handled the HTML/CSS, and despite not specifying colors, the theme came together perfectly. I love it. 🧡

I always wanted a game server as a kid, got one but don’t really know what to do with it... For a start, I got MMO Kaetram there. My inner child is thrilled, but even at 12, I’d have found it too bright and cheerful for my taste. Mayber MU Online or perhaps making something from scratch with Cursor?
