Let's not forget that the tech billionaires stood proudly behind Trump at the inauguration. That they passed tax cuts for the wealthy and took away food and medical care from the needy. The storm troopers exist to keep us from rising up against the inequity and cruelty of our rulers.

I'm not sure whether there's actually a "rising tide of political violence" in the U.S. I do think we have a rising tide of lonely young men, some of whom are disturbed and desperate.
