The ibuprofen this morning has seemed to help with the swelling of my throat, and I haven't gotten sick today! Just trying to take it easy, here. Hope you are all having a good Thursday!

On days when it's like 90 degrees and humid (even now at like 7:30 at night), I swear my dog just paces around and keeps wanting to go outside. It's like "dude, you were just out, and I don't want to go outside, let alone even stand by the cracked door while you do", lol. It's too hot.

My folks picked me up a large fry from Burger King yesterday that I'm just getting around to heating up in the air fryer, and I am sad to report that it did NOT have one random onion ring. 😭

I've got the Gremlin down for a quick nap, so dad's finally having a very late lunch, lol.

Our freezer doesn't have an ice maker, but I remembered we made a couple of water popsicles recently (as well as juice ones), so I took some ibuprofen, and am sucking on a water popsicle that's in the shape of a bear's paw, lol. Hopefully this helps with my throat pain.

After further investigation, it appears to not be a sore throat, but rather swollen and irritated tonsils. I didn't even know that happened to adults. I'm guessing a combination of being sick, throwing up, and the dehydration. And it's recommended that I avoid caffeine, NO!!! 😭
