James and I played pickleball for exactly the third time this morning. A local nonprofit serving disabled young people in Chicago and burbs sponsored the event. Of our round of four games we won two and lost two. A delightful tie! Our wonderful neighbors also played (but in the advanced group).

I did not have "recite Neruda during a dog walk" on my bingo card for today or... all of life.

Okay. I was able to walk up the stairs twice before feeling tired. Recuperation takes many forms and that is one of them.
