A leucistic bald eagle was recently spotted in Missouri! Leucism reduces melanin, giving birds a pale/white look. Itās extremely uncommon in eagles, making sightings like this exciting. Photos shared by the MDC after a local report. Even our most familiar raptors can surprise us!
