The Athletic's Ontario workers voted decisively yesterday in their OLRB election 15-1 in favour of unionization. We strongly believe The Athletic is a federal employer in Canada and that all workers belong in a single bargaining unit. This vote signals our strength and unity in the steps ahead.

Our American colleagues belong in the Times Guild. Sports jobs are Times Guild jobs.

We are the Canadian workers of The Athletic and this morning we filed with the Canadian Industrial Relations Board our intent to unionize with CWA Canada. Later today, we'll do the same with the Ontario Labour Relations Board. Join us as we organize.
