If anything was a danger to public safety in Sydney yesterday, it was NSW Police leadership. Stopping 100s of 1000s of people, in a confined space, and ordering them to turn back against the flow, was madness. Without the peacefulness of the crowd, the turnaround could have been catastrophic.
