Had a great day at #Salute53, I took second in a round of the speed painting competition (I thought painting was meant to be fun?!). Zero haul from me, but many many inspiring ideas to take home. Always a good day.

One can of Colour Forge and the infantry are primed. Took three coats to get good coverage. Have put these aside for a minute to paint some Fallout Factions though.

Got the assembly done on the first batch of the IX Legion for #thehorusheresy. Going for simple and quick with this lot and fitting in around other projects. Next is spraying all the red. (And I'm probably underestimating how long it's all going to take). #warhammer #warhammercommunity.

Another cheeky speed paint, this time for a #moonstonethegame tournament at the Beachhead expo last weekend. I placed 5th and got best in faction (Dominion). I think everyone had a good time, it was a friendly crowd playing a fun whimsical game with lots of great hobby. Good expo too. #wargaming
