I watched The Hateful Eight recently and found adding a narrator midway through the film to be a… choice. Today I learned it is because there was an intermission in theatres, and it was used as a “Last time on the Hateful Eight” bridge. I still hate it, but at least it makes more sense now.

I watched The Hateful Eight last night. I’ve been watching a lot of Tarantino films lately that I haven’t seen, and I am more convinced than ever he makes movies with the expressed intent of being able to use the N-word as much as possible without repercussions.

I never felt Nintendo made "kids games" but experiences that appeal to entire families. Plus there are first party games like Tomodachi Life, Metroid Prime, Xenoblade, and most of the Zelda series. Some skew younger. Some skew older. And sometimes, a game is just not your bag.

Decided to check out some old episodes of Tales from the Crypt on AMC+, and, damn, that show gets pretty intense. I don't know if I am getting more squeamish in my old age or what, but I legit had anxiety after watching the Axe-murderer Santa episode.
