Instead of waking up to his traditional Christmas email, Euclideans awoke to the terrible news of the passing of our Euclid Consortium Lead, Yannick Mellier. As a Euclid early-career member who had the chance to interact with him directly, his loss leaves a deep sadness in my heart.
