A quick spot of painting on Sunday. I like doing these advertising poster replicas. This isn't #streetart . It's just a #mural. Street Art is unsanctioned/illegal art. It is an important distinction, and it is what makes street art important; it must exist outside legal influence or restraint.

Not all murals or street art turn out how the person commissioning the work hope. Due to the popularity of street art, it has attracted lots of inexperienced painters. In this case, though reluctant to paint over someone, I stepped in with a quick coverup for the embarassed property owner.
