Bringing Tomioka to Momocon this year was one of the biggest challenges for con events. In the past, we’ve brought directors, producers, character designers, voice actors, animators, modelers, backgrounds artists to cons.

Breaking the wall has been part of my career but because of my born anxiety I have to take the time to understand who, how and why it was built then crack it open.

The Cheesecake Factory Birthday Party phenomenon. A point in life where evey month you end up at Cheesecake Factory since some friend is having a birthday party there. I’ve never looked into why this phenomenon occurs. Hypothesis is that the kids attend but because parents are often absent.

Significance of Anime Milwaukee is that it’s honoring to have our first in-house Art Director Nakajima be the guest! Nakajima worked on many Hosoda and Shinkai films as background artist and have worked with Orange long time for our shows such as Spin-Off and Leviathan

We will be featuring Hayakawa, our VFX Director and longtime member of Orange team. Hayakawa started as animator and moved on to VFX. Making it possible to us to develop a whole team of VFX department with Orange animation principles and alluring tokusatsu VFX fr Yamamoto

Aoki is one of the longtime member who shade his career from animator to cg director at Orange. Working with the most significant talent, our CEO Inomoto and the team, created along our significant shows from Land of the Lustrous to Trigun Stampede and then to our newest show

New year resolution is to attempt our studio merch line-up, if we can do globally. This is going to be extremely difficult thing since it’s doesn’t have much predecessors and lots of clearing permissions from various parties.
