Danny Thompson RIP Among the greatest bass players of my generation. Around 10 years ago I had the honour of Danny driving over from his home in Rickmansworth to take me out to lunch in Oxford. This was shortly after he had purchased the portrait I had produced of him.

Well, I have finally cracked my portrait of Linda Thompson, one of the most recognised names and voices in the British folk rock movement of the 1970s and 1980s. Linda is very happy with this version. I'll be delivering it by hand next Monday...can't wait!
