5:35A UPDATE -- Snow is moving through SE Wisconsin. Although it's not much, it's arriving just in time for the morning commute. Please be careful -- roads & sidewalks are getting slippery.

MORE SNOW | Light to steady snow arrives around 4-5P. While it won't have the impact it did like yesterday morning, it could create some slick spots for the evening commute. We'll see another burst of snow prior to daybreak tomorrow.

9:30A ROAD CONDITIONS | The DOT is still reporting slippery conditions on interstates/main roads around SE Wisconsin. Traffic speeds have improved since earlier in the morning. On & off flurries will taper off later this morning. It's staying cold & blustery! 🥶

7:45 UPDATE | Roadways have become slick & slippery due to light snow accumulation overnight and rapidly falling temperatures. The southbound left shoulder is still blocked after this slide off at I-41 & County KK.

MONDAY MORNING -- Bundle Up! A light SW breeze is making for wind chills in the teens/20s! At least we'll see some sunshine today with highs in the 40s!

SATURDAY SNOW -- A wet snow is expected first thing Saturday. Only a couple inches of accumulation is expected. Please be careful driving tomorrow. We may see a few additional bursts of flurries later in the afternoon/evening.

STORM TEAM 4 | We've got some mild & wild weather in Wisconsin! We went from a new-record high of 59 in Milwaukee to the 30s this morning. We're expecting some snow first thing Saturday....

FRIDAY 4CAST | Watch out for some light rain on the morning drive. I can't rule out a few flakes mixing in farther North of Milwaukee. Temperatures have already fallen into the upper 30s/lower 40s.

THURSDAY -- Get ready for some afternoon rain! We're looking at 0.5" - 1" of rainfall. The evening commute will be soggy...

8:10A UPDATE -- Patchy dense fog has formed in southern Wisconsin and has expanded into portions of Jefferson & Walworth counties. A Dense Fog Advisory has been extended into these areas until 11A.

NEW WISCONSIN RECORD SET |14.55" of rainfall was recorded over a 21-hr period at James Madison HS on Milwaukee's northwest side. 1-3" per hour rainfall rates were observed from the evening of August 9th thru the morning of August 10th.

FRIDAY MORNING -- Delayed onset of snow last night allowed for roads to dry out & prevent widespread flash freeze 🙏 A few blustery flurries have rolled by this morning -- watch out for a couple slick spots! The light snow is blowing around!

THIS EVENING -- As temperatures tumble, a few snow showers will roll across southern Wisconsin. Given gusty winds & cooling temperatures, the possibility of a snow squall or two can't be ruled out. These intense snow bursts can quickly reduce visibility & lead to slick conditions on the roads.
