New congressional redistricting map for the 2026 election passes in the North Carolina House.

After the speakers wrapped up, protesters marched from Raleigh's old Capitol building to the Legislative Office Building for the North Carolina House Standing Committee’s meeting about Congressional redistricting maps.

Speakers at the "Redistricting Watch" rally also included North Carolina Rep. Deborah Ross (D- NC), Rep. Alma Adams (D- NC), House Democratic Leader Robert Reives (D-Chatham), and Senate Democratic Leader Sydney Batch (D- Wake)

Texas Representative Nicole Collier (D- Fort Worth) joined North Carolina lawmakers during the “Redistricting Watch” rally in Raleigh, North Carolina earlier today.
