I really can’t draw rabbits. It’s pretty funny as I try to think of rabbit shapes in my mind.

I got some nice new cards to show off. One of the first things that happened was the Mothman player milling my Uzra’s Incubator. :(

I never really got into anything or communities and it’s come to bite me. I never opened myself up to that and never made any effort to really understand those who do. I was very wrong on that front and unfortunately only learned too late. I’m in an environment of my own making. Reaped and sown.

I wish I had more people to talk to about creative endeavors. I feel so alone sometimes. I wish I had more of an opportunity to share and listen. Such is life sometimes.

Just finished my last dive of the trip. A lot of time in the water for such a short trip. I love sea critters (and eating them!).

2 dives in with a 3rd later on tonight. Man, am I going to be out cold after all of that.

Soon I will be on a warm breach! The 6 am flight is a small price to pay.

I took a break from some other work to go over some of my characters. I never really nailed down a solid look for her and she has had a nebulous role in the story as things have shifted around. She is a shapeshifting tiger spirit who is the harbinger of winter. I love her too much! #art #oc

Still more work on this ‘bigger’ project. I’m getting into a nice rhythm with things and am really enjoying it. Still nothing better than sitting back and just going ‘wow I just made that’.

Gen Ai has no place in creative spaces. I watched as one person made a 90% Gen Ai project and in just 4 days of existence, it changed the atmosphere of the space massively. It doesn’t take much once it is introduced before people start relying on it for everything. It is such a damn shame.

I got a lot of projects that I’m working on. Most of them are in very winding states as I seem to be allergic to writing things down. I have been able to sit down on the rare few days in order to rework some of my oldest characters. It’s interesting to see how things can change and improve.

I hate the sound of people writing on tablets. Whatever happened to good old pen and paper. The taping and clacking just makes my braincells want to fight.

Oh man, I started to work on some real projects. It’s a very different environment (one that I am enjoying). One day I’ll get to show them off, but not for now. My own projects have been so loosely defined that it a nice change of pace to have a set ‘goal’.

I’m so very tired

I foolishly decided to print out that Dreir stand up. The almost solid black creature… needless to say my toner wants to give up the ghost.

Bipedal standup for a Dreir. Those secondary arms lose a lot of mass to the primaries. The hair does get much longer than in quad forms. Most fully absorb their secondary arms in this form; they do little here. #art #sketch #oc #creaturedesign

A lazy day of lore writing. I am writing skeleton notes about some key world stuff that I have been unhappy about. Power scaling is the bane of my existence! Also trying to expand upon lesser characters.

I printed out the Falling Apart sketch; my printer didn’t like that very much lol.

I need to revamp my socials. I want to do more lore stuff but bluesky has a slight word limit for my over explaining ass.

I tried to put colors on some sketches last night, but my pen lines were soluble. My other pens also blend like hell. So I guess I’m going to pick proper inking pens.
