It’s almost 6 in the morning, I am somehow fully awake and still sorting mtg bulk. Sorting just eases my mind as it gives me a rather easy goal to slowly work away at.

It’s almost time for AF reference crunch time! I hope they can get good feedback and update their rules to reflect better is widely accepted practices in the space. I can get not wanting to allow the used of bases for attacks, but an all out ban on 3d models/using your own photos is not equivalent.

I really can’t draw rabbits. It’s pretty funny as I try to think of rabbit shapes in my mind.

I got some nice new cards to show off. One of the first things that happened was the Mothman player milling my Uzra’s Incubator. :(

I never really got into anything or communities and it’s come to bite me. I never opened myself up to that and never made any effort to really understand those who do. I was very wrong on that front and unfortunately only learned too late. I’m in an environment of my own making. Reaped and sown.

I wish I had more people to talk to about creative endeavors. I feel so alone sometimes. I wish I had more of an opportunity to share and listen. Such is life sometimes.

Just finished my last dive of the trip. A lot of time in the water for such a short trip. I love sea critters (and eating them!).

2 dives in with a 3rd later on tonight. Man, am I going to be out cold after all of that.

Soon I will be on a warm breach! The 6 am flight is a small price to pay.

Still more work on this ‘bigger’ project. I’m getting into a nice rhythm with things and am really enjoying it. Still nothing better than sitting back and just going ‘wow I just made that’.

Gen Ai has no place in creative spaces. I watched as one person made a 90% Gen Ai project and in just 4 days of existence, it changed the atmosphere of the space massively. It doesn’t take much once it is introduced before people start relying on it for everything. It is such a damn shame.

I got a lot of projects that I’m working on. Most of them are in very winding states as I seem to be allergic to writing things down. I have been able to sit down on the rare few days in order to rework some of my oldest characters. It’s interesting to see how things can change and improve.

I hate the sound of people writing on tablets. Whatever happened to good old pen and paper. The taping and clacking just makes my braincells want to fight.

Oh man, I started to work on some real projects. It’s a very different environment (one that I am enjoying). One day I’ll get to show them off, but not for now. My own projects have been so loosely defined that it a nice change of pace to have a set ‘goal’.
