Post like no one is watching.
Once, after having an eye examined by an APRN, I was told that I had bad tears. She then confided that she had bad tears too.

1996 reissue of utterly bonkers 1969 album An Electric Storm by White Noise. Led by future library music master David Vorhaus, the project at this point included the legendary Delia Derbyshire and Brian Hodgson from the BBC Radiophonic Workshop. A tape manipulation masterpiece.

. 1997 TVT/Wax Trax! US version. Five excellent Second Toughest era b-sides, largely in a lush and moodier mode. Secret weapon banger Cherry Pie is a special treat.

Roughly a third of registered voters in the United States have nonpartisan or “third party” affiliation. We are actively ignored and/or marginalized as “swing voters” in the media, as if we’re given any meaningful choice. Two party dominance is systemic oppression perpetuated by the ruling classes.

People make claims and statements about “ambient” music and I can’t help but question whether they’ve actually listened to Roach and Stearns and Rich and Demby or if they’ve just been watching reels on Instagram.

: ADULT.: Detroit House Guests. Remarkable collaborative album from the legacy electropunks in a largely more atmospheric style. Forest Swords: Bolted. UK postwhatever. Slow motion beats, huge blown synths, murky moods for ages.

A big part of this current censorship situation is the long shadow of the Telecommunications Act of 1996. This massive industry-led deregulation made Nexstar (197 TV stations) and Sinclair (193 TV stations) possible. People go on about the Fairness Doctrine but don’t discuss this at all.

A singular and magical group, this CD collects the discography of Young Marble Giants. I bought this unheard via mail order in 2002(?) after reading an article in the NYT during the “post punk revival.” It certainly sounded nothing like Delta 5 or Liquid Liquid. Beautiful and unexpected.

It has come to my attention that there is a Xtian band who thinks they can call themselves The Sound. The disrespect to Adrian Borland continues long after his death. They must have used Jesus only google when double checking their band name.

I was 14. On a family visit to Blockbuster I picked out Eraserhead. I heard older kids talking about it. Maybe I saw a NIN article mentioning David Lynch. I recalled my dad watching Twin Peaks, but I was 9. It was after my bedtime. This movie cracked my head open. Re/formed me. Here I am today.
