I was checking some "old" files and came across this beautiful Devonian landscape by Carmen F. Ulivarri (ig: @ilustra.botanica.uel). It showcases a hypothetical "ancestral" #bryophyte – a tiny Blasia-like liverwort, that had pretty much the same features of modern simple thalloid liverworts. 👉
