In this instance something happened to the driver. But in a photo nothing shows up more despite all our campaigning this section of Preston Road is a mess. The 1960s fencing (safety hazard), the yellow paint, excess speeds. The kids in the background deserve better, they’ve told us they want better

Shocking scenes on Preston Road. This section of street is systematically unsafe, a relic of the 1960s design, doesn’t belong in our borough today. Guardrail crush risk, excess speed, & yet we’ve got Tory Cllrs over the road who think yellow paint on the road will solve anything 🤯🤷🏼 Enough is enough
