Here is the costume inspiration for the secondary antagonist in my play, Crimson. This look was known as "The Gibson Girl", a look of wealth, high society and an independent woman in the 1800s. Crimson loves giving you her opinion, no matter if you want to hear it or not.

Losing Catherine O'Hara is extremely hard. She was a person who had talent out the wazoo. Besides that, she appeared to be a very likeable and kind person. I had hoped to meet her one day. She was one of my favorite actresses. Just gutted.

I've tried to get #wikipedia to change its spoiler policy. I just looked up a show, on google, to see a non-spoiler blurb. Wikipedia is the #1 result and lists the main character and their three different names! Yep! Secret identity!! Spoilers shouldn't be in the show's intro or cast sections.

Finally caught #StrangerThings I could nitpick, but I overall liked the conclusion. Did the show get 'too big'? Maybe. But the journey was fun. My favorite season was 3. THE MALL is a fantastic, giant set piece and just scratched an itch. Jamie Bower, WOW. Powerhouse.

I am extremely disappointed in #Twitch I had been given a gift sub for a year. When Gift Subs end, you are not meant to get charged. I was, for 5 months, without my knowledge. All Twitch support did was send me canned responses on the refund policy. Zero help. Twitch gets an F.

We need to re-analyze internet friendships. We need to look at parasocial relationships with streamers. Viewers and Streamers can become actual friends. But. There are streamers that will love bomb you. Maybe they don't realize it, but be mindful: you can be taken advantage of.

Been reading a lot on manifestation, purpose, intention. I want to write and bring to the screen a retelling of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. It's my favorite story, I love the 1939 film... I do not want to remake it, but of course would pay homage. I hope my dream will come true.

Now, this is a treat! For The Wizard of Oz experience at Sphere, the film's score was re-recorded. And, they've released the soundtrack just today. While the overall situation is controversial, it is always nice to hear fresh and new recordings of the score.

I hope I can make it out of this funk. It is difficult to be hopeful when things look bleak. I wish the universe would let up a bit. Why does the world, why do all of us need THIS much challenge?

I finally got around to watching the New Superman. I shut it off. - Superman was narcissistic. - He's down and out much of the film. - Even though we have a "loving dog" character. Hollywood's weird "dogs are bad" trope persisted. Don't understand how this had so much hype.

I hope the team behind THE WIZARD OF OZ at the sphere can fix mistakes. I noticed when the witch leaves the roof in the tin man scene. the new smoke effect blows away from the roof in shot 1, we cut to Dorothy, then shot 3, back to the smoke, its blown back to the spot where the witch stood.

Short clips of Wizard of Oz at Sphere are out. I've seen a few things from it I like and are interesting. I've seen very stupid dumb things from it. One thing is certain, those involved HAVE changed the film from the original vision, they should stop staying they haven't.

It's so interesting that in the last several years, amateur footage/pics of films being shot in public is so obtundent. Yes it's due to cells, but it's wild. You can search any current film and if there were public scenes, you will find footage.

Comedian Gianmarco Soresi has begun to showcase his body. He can do whatever he wants. But I wonder why he's doing it... are tickets not selling? The guy seems so effortlessly funny, he doesn't need to show off. This doesn't seem to be "hey look at my gains" but "Look how sexy I am"

I don't think THE WIZARD OF OZ at Sphere is going to have this huge fanfare the creators are hoping for. There are a few sequences the extra screen size will be cool, mainly the tornado. But these shots with tiny actors and gigantic landscape or sky... they distract and hurt the film.

It's a real gut punch that my first Superman, Dean Cain, has emerged as a person I wouldn't want to idolize or know. He's now a member of ICE. Imagine, you play one of the USA's famous Super Hero's, then years later, you absolutely destroy your legacy as you support something Superman never would.

Did you know The Jamie Lee Curtis FREAKY FRIDAY remake was not the first? Shelley Long starred as the mother in a tv version in 1995. I had no idea! You can find it if you look for it. I'm anxious to see 'Freakier Friday" but where's our Father/Son body swap movie?

The new #thewiz double-casting an actress as Aunt Em and Eveline is awful. While THE WIZ didn't do it before, THE WIZARD OF OZ on stage famously often has the same actress play Aunt Em and Glinda, as well as the farmhands becoming Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Lion. What message is THE WIZ sending?

Lastly, #Younger was a sort of time-capsule before everything shifted due to tech, covid, and politics. Comforting in a way I can't quite explain. Anyway, yay for television, one of the arts that can let us escape for a moment. I also hope Foster can do some more TV.

#Younger 's strength was how the female friendship between Liza and Kelsey rarely waivered. While there was conflict between them for a hot moment, they reconciled quickly. And of course, Liza's friendship with Maggie all the way through. I appreciated the cute but few musical sequences, too.

Finished #Younger. Thoughts: I saw a lot of promotion when it aired. I always saw Duff, never Foster. I assumed the show was mainly about Kelsey. The show was fun, overall. Made me want to pick up a book again. The character of Diana basically being gone the final season was super unfortunate.

I'd love to play Thronglets on my PC. A bit ironic that in the story it's a computer game, but in reality, we can only play it on our phones. There are many things that are just more fun to do on a PC than a smaller screen and no mouse. #blackmirror

The episode 'Common People' of S7 of Black Mirror was depressing and terrifying. It was fiction but... I could see it happening in real life. We need to do better. We need to be kinder.

I was not in a life or death situation... But, Walmart Pharmacy was unable to take my card for some reason. I tried every single walmart number in existence and couldn't reach a human. So, my business was moved elsewhere.

Saw #jessicakirson tonight. Very funny. Enjoyed most of the show. Not sure how I feel about the one mentally challenged joke and 'segment' on heavier people but we did have a caregiver in the audience who Jessica spoke to directly... and She merely asked us to clap for them, for doing great work.

The play I have been writing off and on since 2018 is nearly a complete draft. So very close to being able to share it with fresh eyes. 🧹👑🌈
