I wish people could understand that just because you don't like a feature you have doesn't mean you don't like that feature on other people. Often I'll say everyone with X feature looks great, except for me!

I never had a hen party since I didn't have a lot of IRL female friends and I got married while I was in university and therefore wanted to prioritise money to go to Australia for the honeymoon, but if I did have one, I would have totally done a Disney trip.

Publishing Crime of the Century has demonstrated to me that it's not just women who love true crime, it's also men. I knew this early on because my dad is the reason I got into true crime. Starting when I was 8 years old, every Friday and Saturday night we would watch true crime documentaries.

I like to think I combine the approachability and storytelling of pop history with the rigour and nuance of academic history. You can indeed be factual, but unpretentious and tell these stories from history in a cinematic way. That's how I see my book Crime of the Century.

Saw this dumb comment. I wonder how Oscar Wilde, Roscoe Arbuckle, Lenny Bruce, Muhammad Ali, Pete Seeger, and The Hollywood Ten would feel about this statement. All of these men experienced cancel culture before that term was even a thing.

I like thinking that You Really Got me is a bisexual anthem because when Ray sings girl, he sings it in a way that he could be talking to a girl, but he could be singing girl in the gay slang way.

I'm looking at this Y2K jeans brand size chart out of curiosity. I need the largest size they have or I'm too big for them. My measurements are 34"-23"-37". I've worn the same jeans size for almost 20 years, a US size 4 (except when I was underweight and a size 2). 2000s beauty standards are insane!

One of the things that kinda irks me is when people suspect a guy is gay, they never entertain the possibility they could be bisexual. I think we shouldn't just consider things as either/or, we should also consider the possibility of both/and.
