Who the hell's being so loud this early in the morning?!

"Ugh. Okay okay, don't get so worked up over it. I get it. Maybe this'll be a lesson for you not to mess with any monsters from outside of Bandle." He glanced towards his garage, where his precious war machine awaited. "If he's gonna keep stomping around my turf though, I'll have to evict him-

Rumble rubbed the bridge of his nose a few times. "And that's why he's stomping around my junkyard? Cause you're hiding out here?"

Rumble let out an exasperated sigh. At least she was telling the truth this time...possibly. "Yeah? And what do you want me to do about it? Sounds to me like this is another mess you gotta clean up."

"Not sure I'd call it "nice". Looks more like Shurima just blew through here." He scowled with arms crossed, even as each heavy stomp caused him to pop up from the ground briefly.

Rumble squints as something or some/one/ starts causing the junkyard to shake. He's got a pretty good idea who, too...

"...Uh..." He's been engulfed by a looming shadow...this can't be good.

“Uh-huh. Yeah, sure. You gotta learn not to rely so much on magic anyways. It’s fickle, chaotic, and unpredictable. Stuff like this though? Your own hard work? I KNOW I can trust that.”

Rumble however, would not budge on this issue one bit. “Oh, I’m sorry, maybe you should have thought about that before you turned my workshop into a glitter factory. Now, get to it!”

“UP UP UP!” He holds out a gloved palm in her face. “No magic. Magic got you into this mess, your butt better believe I won’t let it get you outta it. You’re gonna clean, and I’m gonna sit here and watch until it’s done PROPERLY.”

Rumble takes a deep breath. In, and out, through the nose and then the mouth. He walks into the garage, and shuts it behind him. A slew of muffled curses can be heard screaming from inside the yordle’s compromised workshop, along with some metal banging. Eventually, the garage opened. Rumble-

"Hmm..." He'd narrow his eyes, before gripping the garage's shutter. Without any hesitation, he'd yank it up to see what the damage was...!

He was literally seconds away from opening it before coming to a stop, turning to squint at the purple sorceress. "And why shouldn't I?"

"'Kay." Rumble turns to start heading towards his garage, all the while thinking about how he's gonna punish Lulu for the mischief she no doubt caused.

"Mhm. So I'm gonna take a look inside my workshop and everything'll be exactly as I left it?"

"Wouldn't happen to be stuff that could break MY stuff, would it?"

"Whaddya doing?"

"Lulu."

Rumble squints a little bit. He can FEEL that things got a bit more...purple.

"Who the hell's causing that damn ruckus?"

His huge ears twitched a few times...

"Yeah? I ain't see you doing anything about it. How 'bout you shed a few pounds and MAYBE I won't bring it up."

"Uh-huh, keep telling yourself that bud." He may not be, but Rumble won't pass up an opportunity to mess with him.

"Yeah, total tubster, heheh."

He's kicked back and chilling in his mech's cockpit, just enjoying this nice Bandle weather.

"That's gotta be photo doctoring, he ain't that buff."

“…Well, whatever. Guess I’ll drop it for now. Not like it’ll solve the problem.”

“…Hmph. Yeah, okay, sure. Maybe you’re just nervous for some other reason then.”

The puny yordle is rather unaware of the monster currently roaming around Bandle.

“Cause you’re acting suspicious as all hell! Ever since I noticed that weird shaking…so, out with it! What’d you do, huh?!”

“What did you do? I KNOW you did something.”

He squints at the scout.

“The hell’s causing all that shaking, damn it?!”

“…What the-?”

New years? He’s busy in his workshop. He didn’t even hear the fireworks going off…probably because he was dealing with explosions inside.

“B-Because!” He stammered, trying to come up with a good excuse. “It uh…wasn’t supposed to be a big issue? I kinda thought it’d just make him grow a few inches and then stop, eheheh.” His ears pin back a little.

“Yeah whatever, don’t mention it.” A brief awkward silence between the two. “So, are you just gonna sit there or go home or what?”

The clothes were a bit tight, considering Veigar WAS bigger than Rumble…but they’d do in a pinch. “Ugh, for the last time I wasn’t trying to trick you!”

“I’m just glad you didn’t cause any real damage. Imagine if you had sat down.” Grumbling, Rumble makes his way into his workshop, emerging minutes later with a matching pair of clothes to what he wore. “Here, put it on.” He tossed it to Veigar.

“Euuuugh…okay, fine. I built a new invention that utilizes fae particles, Veigar wanted me to test it on him, it did, and he bloated to giant size. Then, it wore off, and he shrank back to normal. There, happy?”

“Yeah, gonna have to work out the kinks though. I don’t wanna deal with any giant-sized headache again. Dealing with longlegs is a pain as is.” Soon, the junkyard would come into view, along with giant Veigar footprints. “Ugh.”

“You’re the one that wanted me to test out my gadget on you, and YOU’RE the one that threatened me after the fact! I’m the one giving you clothes out of the goodness of my heart.” He’d snort, not even bothering to look back at Veigar.

“Yeah yeah, whatever. Don’t get your…uh, nothing, twisted.” He walks past the yordle, making sure to give him a firm smack on his backside with his gloved hand. Y’know, just to assert himself.

“Uhh…okay, look. You don’t do anything stupid? I’ll lend you one of my jumpsuits, how does that sound?” He can’t help but stare now, not realizing how dangerous the view he’s been given is.

Look, I’m gonna be the first one to tell you that yeah, it got a little weird there for a moment. But! That’s all taken care of, so don’t sweat it.

“…Snrk. Might wanna put some clothes on before you go threatening me, tubs.” He points back at the nude yordle, slyly looking away.

Nah don’t worry about it.

That would thankfully assist Rumble with actually getting away. It wouldn’t be long until he couldn’t hear the furious stomps behind him any longer and turned to look back. “…See? Told ya it’d wear off soon!”
