Held a two week old kitten tonight and just melted. Such cute, innocent potential. A whole life ahead. We will be adopting an adult, but it was healing to hold a new life to my chest.

Starting to bump up against tariff silliness. @SecritLyfe found a swatch of fabric she likes, but it’s in Germany. $73 shipping on a $12 item, so nope. I just avoided ordering a $3 item from an artist on Etsy b/c shipping to the US was unavailable at any price.

Heading to a local shelter after work to meet adoptable cats. Wish me luck! We are still raw, but we have room in our hearts and home for another family member. I suspect the problem will be picking only one.

So I have changed my DNS records to point to my new mail server. More than 24 hours later, it’s still going to Proton. I know these things can take a while to propagate, but I think it should have by now. Must’ve missed something somewhere.
