Following the post from yesterday, here is the line version of the illustration. Although I love good color play, I started as an ink and pen guy, so it’s hard to resist switching to line work. Not to mention the fun I’m having by playing with hatching to find a similar surface balance in the work.

I got some new juicy photos from @inktrapbooks, in which this green spread looks so good. The flower detail was later combined with some other elements for the endpaper patterns. It was fun to play with all those different combinations, but there can be only two endpapers in a book. #illustration
