Had the niblings stay over last night, gave my niece the "alphabet" pillow 🤭

Went to Five Below with my daughter a bit after this and she BEGGED for a "Fashion boy" ornament she came across. He now graces our Halloween tree.

I just had such yummy pizza for lunch, gonna be fantasizing about this place 💜

I hate that I spend all week anticipating the weekend and then when the weekend comes I end up being so swamped by responsibilities that I'm still just incredibly drained and burnt out come Monday. Maybe if I act unenthused about the weekend it'll be relaxing. Gonna try some reverse psychology here.

I love seeing punkins outside of grocery stores this time of year. Like, YES BITCH this is exactly how it's supposed to be.

I've lost a decent amount of weight this year and I *think* I'm down two pants sizes but I haven't actually tried on any because holy smokes clothes are expensive. Walking down the hall and having to hold up my pants the whole time is getting silly.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: This morning Cracker Barrel called me a good girl and told me I've earned 75 pegs.

This morning while walking my daughter up to the school doors we heard a car blasting Soda Pop. My kiddo and I immediately started singing and dancing along to it. Shortly after, the dad and daughter behind us did the same.

To those who have also had to wear hoodies in gym class during summer, keep their sleeves down while doing the dishes and pretend like the wet fabric wasn't agitating, and smiled while gritting your teeth through the era of wrist slitting emo kid jokes, I'm incredibly happy you're here with me 💜

My daughter found a 'secret' area behind a waterfall in Hello Kitty Island Adventure and ever since she's been checking behind every waterfall and getting MAD when there's nothing there. I love that this gaming experience is expanding to younger generations. 🤭

I have a small mirror in my car that clips under my rearview mirror so I can see my daughter in the backseat. Lately, when I hit bumps it falls a little and ends up being aimed right at my boobs. Definitely a little distracting to be watching your own boobs jiggle while you drive. 😅

I keep getting stuck in a cycle of, "once this thing is over I'll feel better" but there is always a new, stressful thing coming up. The horrors are very real and it turns out it's just being a human.
