Kerkez seems to be a figure of ridicule for a big section of the match going fans. but these are massive physical numbers. 608m of sprinting and 26 sprints is absolutely elite for a fullback. And the 1v1 defensive stats excellent too. The team needs MORE piano carriers like him, not fewer #lfc

Watching it back I am amazed that the Ekitike penalty wasn't given. No attempt on the ball, defender just steps in front of his run and gives him a hip check. As blatant a penalty as you'll ever see.

fwiw I think if this obvious pen on Heki is given they probably go on to win the game. the one on Chiesa wasn't as obvious but have seen it given as a penalty against us plenty of times before.
