The dog cardiologist had an opening today so we went over first thing. They ran some tests and prescribed Phoebe some new meds. She was very good. If you need us, we will be snuggling. ❤️

Working on a new novel means new notebook which means new Phoebe photoshoot.

I've been incredibly anxious recently and an afternoon outside under the sky looking at baby animals and flowers with my love was definitely good for my soul.

We also went tulip picking and the colors were stunning.

We got to meet baby animals at the farm today and yes I am obsessed with the goats. The black one even came over and said hello. 😊

Is there a national cryptid day? I personally, for my mental health, need a national cryptid day.

I won this cat at cryptid bingo, but Phoebe still doesn't understand what cats are. She was VERY excited to see the toy but then immediately ignored it when I put it next to her.

I brought home a mystery box ghost and Phoebe is weirdly obsessed with it.

We went to the Jersey Devil Fable Festival in Asbury Park, New Jersey today and it was a lot of fun! Took a little walking tour. Saw some great crafts. Played cryptid bingo! 😊

I love when my mom calls my dog "kiddo". It's just adorable.

Happy Birthday to my wonderful mom! Here we are in the 90s! I'm so lucky to have her as my mom and Phoebe is so lucky to have her as her mema. ❤️

Phoebe has to see a cardiologist for her heart condition. It scares the hell out of me, but in the meantime while we try to get an appointment we are doing plenty of snuggling.

The books I've published at the desk on which I wrote them. Even though this is something I've been working towards since I was a little kid, it still feels magical to see them there. These stories have come so far. And I guess I have too. 🥰

We went outside to do a little reading and Phoebe was excited to explore the grass.

I love how my dog snuggles up with me and naps when I take a break as if everything I've done today so far is absolutely exhausting for her.
