Four videogames that changed my life

Started converting some of my concept art to spritework. Honestly thought it'd be harder—it's just LONG. And thank fuck for bases and premade sprites I can work off of. When this project ends, I'll probably release my NPC customs. In any case it's really fun- huh? What uni work?

When I was in the translation team for @nightlfy.bsky.social 's Dragon Quest +, I took it upon myself to draw some of the original items in the NES manuals watercolor style. Try different mediums, a lot of 'em. I've watched people go from shaky pencilwork on paper to great digital art the day they got a tablet. I unexpectedly fell in love with watercolor after trying it randomly. You can still go back later and practice the mediums that aren't "naturally" easy for you

After hearing it was a thing for years, I'm getting to the point where I wanna write cool scenes/plot beats but the characters get in the way. Pretty cool coz it means my characterization is strong enough! And I thought it'd be a pain to deal with but it's actually pretty cool to "listen" to them.
