I love how I was feeling reeeally meh about the part of my main WIP that I've been stuck working on for like a month but then suddenly something just... clicked?? And now I actually managed to get somewhere with it?? And it all somehow makes sense on a larger scale (I think)?? I'm very excited

Therapy isn't enough, I need to channel all my shit emotions into Sephiroth Final Fantasy VII so I can be rid of them for at least a moment

Slowly catching up on my sefikura fic backlog when I haven't had the mindset/ability to read anything for SO long feels... oddly healing somehow. This ship has been with me through so many terrible things and has always been a source of comfort and I'm glad I can have that again in this shitty time

Working on *insert mysterious post-canon noises here* and I keep ending up with weird metaphors about ownership. Cloud and his domesticated pet monster Sephiroth. What is with these two, they're making me insane

I think that Sephiroth heals too quickly for any of his injuries to scar. I also think that Sephiroth would be incredibly irritated by this. What do you MEAN he doesn't get to have a scar where Cloud cut him in the side back in Nibelheim?? He DESERVES a reminder of that intimate moment actually!!

The irritating thing about writing FFVII fic these days for me is that I never feel like I'm certain which version of events I want to refer to when writing AC/DoC/general post-canon fic. OG is hardwired into my brain and I AM a bit of a purist but also... remake-verse has some cool unique stuff too

Update on my playthrough of a new threat: going well up until the Corel train section nearly broke me. Died so many times, crashed the train equally many times. Never had any issue with the 10 min timer in vanilla ffvii but DEAR GOD this was brutal. But the goats Cid Aerith and Barret pulled through

Been wanting to re-experience og ffvii in a fresh way so I finally decided to try out modding and play a new threat. It's been a lot of fun, I've gotten jumpscared so many times by unexpected new bosses and even new mechanics on old bosses. Approaching Temple of the Ancients soon and I live in fear

Finally starting to see some writing progress again! Ch4 of my severely delayed SC week 2025 is pretty much done. Debating on whether I should do art for it, as well as if I should wait until I've got the rest of the chapters in a more finished state before I post... Decisions decisions...
