Personal picks for Winter 2026 by ~1st episodes This season seems to be nicely diverse with genres, making it more relaxing to watch multiple shows as it doesn’t feel like repetition of the before. Most of the shows are quite simple in nature, but it’s nice to have something easy going on occasion.

Kotae Expo just happened, and it was my favourite con this year 🦊 This being just the 2nd one is interesting, from how much they improved from last year (which was also good) and how much they have already accomplished. I’m so eager for next year’s. ⬇️Con loot

Seasonal recommendation: Tojima Wants to Be a Kamen Rider 🦗 Synopsis is in title ⬆️ One thing I want to highlight is sound design. I love how strong and meaty SFX is. You can feel weight of every punch/kick. Same person has done SFX for e.g. JoJo, GuP and Fire Force. +Music👌

4th post-löyly post 🧖‍♂️ Just saw "Perfect days", it was beautiful movie. Idea of wanting to live content life and finding beauty in ordinary is relatable to me. Personally, I don't celebrate holidays, because I find ordinary days more meaningful when value comes from just living.

3rd post-löyly post 🧖‍♂️ Sauna is relaxing timeless zone. Without a window you'll forget time of day and there is nothing that indicates time or need to be somewhere. It's a nice place to stop and be with yourself, away from all the worries.

2nd löyly 🧖‍♂️🧖‍♂️ "If sauna and booze and tar do not help, the disease is deadly." is one of my favourite old Finnish proverbs. Sauna always helps with sore muscles from work, and it would be hard to imagine working without. I don't drink alcohol, but I love anything tar 🤤🤤🤤

1st löyly in new apartment 🧖‍♂️ It's quite good for being electric. Decent airflow and heat that you can feel. 🔥 It being in apartment means that I can go whenever I want and not fight with reservation systems🙏 Also, having balcony for cooling down makes it much much better 😊

Seasonal highlight: Gnosia Within passengers there are infected. Main goal is deduce who those are (e.g. Werewolf) and put them in cold sleep, so rest of you can survive or else everyone will die. Each episode is a new time loop with rotating cast and infected. (Based on VN)

Main day of the move done 🥳 Now starts the fun game of "Where did I put it?".

It has been thrilling week so far. The tumour that was removed last week was confirmed to be non-cancerous. Offer for new apartment arrived and it's already signed. It's almost half bigger with added benefit of own sauna and balcony. Also, finally had löyly since surgery 🧖

Tea is nice hobby 🍵 It's rewarding, because with experience you can make every tea delicious. Like this tea which I though was horrendous few years ago but now brewing it correctly, it's quite delectable.

I just had tumour removed from my left index finger. Doctor's order was to keep my hand upright position for a day to help healing. Meaning that, I looked like this entire time while walking home: P.S. Whose smart idea was to play "Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door" in hospital's radio

Bought more teawares from Ropecon 🍵 Seller was really nice guy and I like his experimental & rustic style of pottery.

After watching ~1st episodes of this season, here are my most interesting shows for this season. This season’s strength is lies around humour, what can be quite dividing, but just correct for me 😹

⚔️Bye Bye, Earth⚔️ I don't like stories that are just building up to big climax, those usually left me feeling unsatisfied, but on this, it felt satisfying to see everything coming together. This isn't for everyone, but you can always try, especially if you like Kevin Penkin OST.

Another rock-solid show of summer season: 🪨Ruri Rocks🪨 Saying it's enjoyable won't rock the boat, as it has been astoneshing surprise. What a gem of show, not just a pyrite but actual gold. It holds it place even harsher panning. And as a last thing: 🙂rock🙂

Currently favourite of Summer season is: 👾Necronomico and the Cosmic Horror Show👾 Survival game where bunch of streamers must fight against "eldritch" horrors in videogames to stay alive, with chance of wish being granted at the end.

Seasonal recommendation: 🤖Apocalypse Hotel🤖 After humans escaped from deadly virus to space, there is still one hotel running with robots waiting their return. Post-apocalyptic story with feeling of longing for something that might never happen.

Wii U gamepad is best controller ever made. It's only controller that fits perfectly in the hand and actually feels good to use.

I love this refence Akagi was monthly mahjong/gambling manga. The last arc took ~19 real life years just to finish 1 game (with multiple rounds). In comparison One Piece took same time to get from start of manga to end of Dressrosa arc. Please read the manga (or watch the anime).

I've been eating like old Finnish man for past month 👴 Usually Finnish food is made fun of because its flavour profile is not spicy or any complex. But I think that makes it great, because of its simplicity all Finnish food feel like comfort food to me.
