Folks, remember

Visited the Wadsworth Athenaeum recently and found one of my favorite objects. Head of a woman (stucco) 4th-5th century CE Greco-Buddhist Hadda, Eastern Afghanistan Possibly a bodhisattva (enlightened being), this head was once part of a larger sculpture made of unfired clay.

Really really hope this does what I want it to. I don't want a bad glaze to ruin this mug!

45 hours in the studio in April, even with 10 days home with Covid. Hoping 50 hrs in May. I can reliably and quickly center at least 2 lb of clay I am starting to develop some design preferences I threw a pot tall enough I had to take off my watch instead of just shoving it further up my arm 😂🙌

Today is my birthday and also day 19 of being in the hospital with a severe illness. I'm going to be greedy and wish for 2 things for my birthday: to have a full recovery, and for as many folks to see my artwork as possible today. 💚 Care to give this a repost to make that second wish come true?
