Something they don't tell you about working with SQLite and Python: Version matching. Using SQLite features released in October is a mixed bag since Python doesn't pin its SQLite version. My local env, uv, docker and CI all have different versions, despite all being Python 3.13.3 😠

Today's naming challenge: AWS have 2 caching services I'm interested in: "MemoryDB" and "Elasticache". Which one do you think stores its data in memory (ie isn't persisting)? A: Elasticache. Because of course "Memory" being in the product name has nothing to do with where the data is stored 🤦😡

If your regex is complex enough that you need to write it verbosely (with comments), you should probably be using a parser instead.
