took our 34kg Airedale Terrier for a 5km walk. just over 53 minutes, so not bad practice for tail-walking at #parkrun

collected some fallen acorns in late April. stratified in fridge to simulate northern hemisphere Winter. have potted some up. hopeful. #bonsai #starters

afternoon walk with our 2yo miniature poodle x shi-tzu Marvin as a #parkrun time test. Did ok even with a stop to chat and MANY messages....even when his "ink" ran out. lol

No run for me at #MarriottWaters #parkrun this week at event 377. Rather, I volunteered as Run Director for the 54th time, and 103rd volunteer credit. Back to running next week.

This week a vollie with a pre-existing health issue didn't want to let us down at #MarriottWaters #parkrun but couldn't do the role. hmmm. look after yourself, we were able to get someone to "jump in"

At #MarriottWaters #parkrun event 369 for my own 237th "run". Struggled and slowed to walk multiple times, yet finished the 5km in my fastest time this year. As usual, huge thanks to vollies, without whom these events could not occur.

2 this morning, and another 8 this evening gets our harvest to 1187 in the past 60 days. Daily numbers of fruit dropping are reducing, but it has been a fabulous season from our one plant. #gardening #passionfruit #australia

13 this morning, and 12 this evening gets us to 996 passionfruit from our one plant since 29 Jan. I am told they are $3 each in Adelaide. #gardening just wow

At #MarriottWaters #parkrun event 366 for my own 235th "run". jogged the whole 5km without slowing to a walk, and finished in 30:38. My fastest time this year and best age grade since 15 Nov. Onwards and upwards

Still slow at #marriottwaters #parkrun this morning, and slowed to a walk a couple of times, but at 30:56 for the 5km, first time under 31 minutes this year is an improvement. Also did 1st Timer briefing, so my next volunteer will be number 100

Got home from parkrun to find another 17 #passionfruit have dropped overnight. That makes 808 in 38 days since 29 January. Seedlings from seed and pulp planted on 31 January are also doing great #gardening

No run for me yesterday at #MarriottWaters #parkrun event 360 as I was RD for my 51st time (98 vollie credits in total) to go with 229 runs. good turnout, with 132 finishers and 15 volunteers.

still 46 degrees celcius outside at 6:45pm. just wow

when the temperature hits 45c (over 110f), dinner was never going to be anything other than cold meats, cheese, and salad.

took both dogs for (separate) early walks this morning, as expected Melbourne maximum temp is 45 degrees celcius (over 110f). total distance 6.8km. Now to keep them quiet inside, and away from the heat.

My understanding is that if there is a suspect identified for a crime (e.g. possible murder) then any persons interfering with the apprehension of the suspect are also potentially guilty of a crime. Will ICE agents hand over the shooter to state investigators, or will they hinder the investigation?

Last event at #MarriottWaters #parkrun for the year. I was slow, having volunteered the past 2 weeks. The year in perspective : 39 runs, 18 volunteer credits (inc. Course checking, First Time Briefing, and Tail walking which is why my total exceeds 52 weeks). Marvin enjoyed walking the 5km.

First zucchini harvested for the season. A bit later than usual, but everything seems "behind" this year. Looked almost ready to "take off"
