Happy to announce I have met another weight loss goal

I just had to say goodbye to my dog because I gave her up for adoption. She hasn’t adjusted well to our recent move and just needs more time and space than I can give her. My heart has been torn apart. It’s been 30 minutes and I miss her so much. 🐾 💔

I really do just have the best children. I’m so proud of the teenagers they are and the young men they are growing up to be.

Our last night in Raleigh. Tomorrow we are back to Midtown after 7 years. It’s bittersweet moving out of the home where I’ve raised my children but we’re all looking forward to this next adventure.

I graduated with my MA in Spanish from Middlebury College 20 years ago today. It was the end of a journey that included new experiences, illness, relearning how to walk, and still learning. I’m thankful to my community and community of educators who’ve poured into me all these years. #langchat

The Supreme Court should no more accept a case on whether or not birthright citizenship is constitutional than they should hear a case on whether or not freedom of speech is constitutional. Even considering the question as up for debate should be considered an unconstitutional act.
